What are your current COVID-19 protocols? (updated 5/28/21)

  • Masks are required for members who are NOT FULLY VACCINATED when in the main co-work center (hot desk area and lounge) and common areas of the building. Members who are FULLY VACCINATED ARE NOT REQUIRED to wear face coverings while indoors and in common areas of the building.
  • Members are required to fill out a COVID-19 release upon entering the office for the first time which includes information for contact tracing. This form will be kept on record for all future visits.
  • We have a Medical Grade Air Purifier with an H13 Hepa filter in the office which has a 99.9% particle remover.
  • If you have a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, you can return to the office only after you’ve fully recovered, with a doctor’s note confirming your recovery.
  • We will continue to sanitize commonly used and touched surfaces to ensure your health and safety.
  • Please be considerate and respectful of all of our co-work members and staff during this transitional period as we are all learning to cope with these new rules & regulations.

What is a Co-Working Center?

Co-working is a fresh, innovative concept that gives individuals the opportunity to work somewhere between the couch and the corporate office. For some, working out of a home office feels isolating or too personal to visit at with clients, and for others the typical office environment proves too regimented, stuffy or costly. That’s where we come in. The Sybil Property Co-Work Center provides affordable shared office space to like-minded entrepreneurs, freelancers and other professionals. Whether used by these individuals as a primary or secondary office, the center offers the opportunity to work in a relaxed but productive, community-focused environment.

Where are you located?

The Sybil Property Co-Work Center is located at 2 Seminary Hill Rd (cross street Route 6) in the quaint town of Carmel, NY.  The fresh air of the lower Hudson Valley, and the beautiful view of Lake Gleneida make this Center an ideal place to get the creative juices flowing and the productivity happening!

What kind of people work there?

The Sybil Property Co-Work Center is divided into 2 suites-the Co-Work & Business Center and the Wellness & Holistic Center. Depending on which category you feel you fall into would determine which center you become a member of.

What are the Center’s operating hours?

On Staff Support – Monday to Friday – 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

Can I bring my pet? My kids?

No. Although we love kiddos and fur-babies, we have a strict no animals or children policy.

I talk on the phone a lot. Will that be a problem?

Our space operates on the idea of a collaborative co-working environment and mutual respect. However, if your conversation turns loud or personal in nature, feel free to step outside while taking in the views of beautiful Lake Gleneida.

Can I use the Sybil Center for my business and mailing address?

Yes, you can!  We also offer a directory listing on the premises.

Where do I park when I get to the Center?

Off-street parking is available directly adjacent to the building.

What if I don’t use all the days in my package?

The Sybil Property Co-Work Center offers its spaces on a monthly basis and does not grant refunds for unused days. In addition, unused days cannot be rolled over into the following month or transferred to another member.

When and how will I be invoiced?

When you decide to become a member, you will set up an account with us in which you can pay via a Creditcard, PayPal subscription or ACH deposit from All monthly fees are due on the first of the month, however, if you opt for a PayPal subscription, then dues are owed 30 days from your specific subscription date.

Do you offer discounts for multiple members from the same company?

No, but we’ve priced our rates super low to be affordable to all.

Do I have to wait until the 1st of the month to join the Center?

Not at all! We operate on a rolling schedule so the first day you start is the first day of your billing month.

Can I bring my clients to the Co-Work & Business Center?

Having a professional place to meet with clients is imperative and something the Sybil Property Co-Work & Business Center offers our members through our Conference Rental Space option, available at hourly and daily rates. Our conference room is equipped with a White-Board, Telephone, Projector, WiFi Printers/FAX/Scanner and Video Conference. If you are in need of additional type of equipment, let us know!

Are guests allowed to come with me to the Center?

Yes! 48-hour notice will need to be given to the Concierge desk with your guest’s name and identification so that they can be added to our guest list.

How do I cancel my membership?

We hope that never happens but if you have to go, just give us a call at least 5 days prior to your next invoice date.

How soon can I move in?

We like to have 5 business day notice to setup your account and work area, provide you access to the building, and resolve any logistical requirements.

What internet provider do you use and how fast is it?

Internet is provided by Comcast with backup to Verizon FIOS.

Is there easy access to public transportation?

The Sybil Property Co-Work Center is conveniently located 5 miles from the Metro-North Brewster train station (via the Harlem line).

Do you offer cleaning services or is that on me?

Nope, we take care of that! The entire office is professionally cleaned weekly.

May I bring my own furniture for extra storage?

As long as it ties into the existing decor of the space, you may submit a request for approval (to be obtained from the Concierge desk).

How often can I use the conference room in the Co-Work and Business Center ?

As much as you’d like! Just make sure to call 845-284-1752 first to make sure it’s available when you need it. We offer hourly and daily rates.

Where do I get my Mail?

Mail will be delivered to the Concierge desk for everyone except those who choose to lease a private mailbox (located at the south entrance of the building).  Keys will be given for privately leased mailboxes.
